Green Beachwear from BTC Elements

BTC Elements is one of my favorite green and ethical fashion stops. It was started by native Californian Summer Bowen, after she studied environmental education and social justice and found it really hard to be green and be fashionable at the same time!
Not that hippies aren’t fashionable! But rather, if you weren’t wearing a flowy skirt, birkenstocks and hemp jewelry, finding green fashion was hard to do. Thankfully that is changing!
Anyways, BTC Elements has a line of fantastic green swimwear. Designed by Kelly Berry for BTC, the pieces are all made out of an organic cotton/spandex hybrid fabric OR from mill end swimwear fabrics (i.e. the stuff other guys plan on throwing out) and are made locally on the West Coast.
I love this sexy cut-out one piece, this “glamour” suit, and, of course, the classic bright bikini!
