This book looks interesting. I am a grandmother of a five-year-old who has peanut and soy allergies. We have been reading labels and researching allergies since his peanut allergy discovery on Halloween when he was about two years old. His condition also has prompted our family to look into greener ways of living and continuing education for our family as well as his teachers and school friends. I want to be reassured that our rapid techologic advances are tempered with an eye towards global health and our own longevity. Thanks for any information you can contribute towards that end.

I recycle all the packaging that comes with my makeup products and always use up every last bit of the product. My daughter also plays with some of the empty bottles of makeup products as well. She has a great time with them in the bath!

My regimen consists of hot olive oil treatments for my face and hair. I am overjoyed that this book has been published. There are several books on green products for house and garden but green body, bath and beauty products are not included.

My family has gotten MUCH better at recycling. Also. we use all-natural products whenever possible: green cleaning products, personal care products, skincare, cosmetics, bath/body products, etc. In addition, we attempt to reuse as many things as possible.

I am a “former” makeup artist ..That sounds funny. I gave up my MACtress job to be a SAHM. But I learned a lot about going green especially with my makeup regimen. First I make sure I read the ingredients to my products. Second I basically shop MAC for their recycle policy BACK2MAC. Basically you turn in your finished products and get a free lipstick out of the whole deal. MAC’s packaging is also beneficial bc all containers or cardboard can be recycled.
