Green Reading

Here are some of my favorite “green” reads if you are looking for a little weekend blog reading. As if you don’t have enough to do already. I promise I won’t quiz you on it on Monday.
Tree Hugging Family has some great ideas, books and children’s organizations, to get the youngins involved with environmental awareness. Unplugged Living wants to hear your thoughts on the new Chevy Volt. Is this electric car really better than a hybrid?
Mother Earth’s Garden reflects on how far her Eco-friendly garden has come in four years and what she predicts will change by the next leap year. I think a lot of people will be headed towards sustainable gardening and growing their own pesticide-free fruits and vegs. Wouldn’t that be lovely? Breastfeeding 1-2-3 weighs in on the whole breastfeeding and weight loss issue. Having just weened the bug myself I can say that I miss the effortless daily calorie burn. Sit on the couch and burn 600 calories! Ah the wonders of motherhood.
Veggie Chic warns us to stop abusing tomatoes. We love tomatoes in our household. All that lovely lycopene is good for your skin. Chic By Nature shows us the new 2008 Spring line from Beau Soleil. Some of the clothes are a little too flowy for me and you know I don’t wear dresses but I like the idea. I could see myself wearing one of them over jeans as a long tunic.
Happy Weekend everyone. Please do find the time to rest and recharge before you head back to the grind.

Thanks for the mention Noel. Yes, I love the Veggie Chic tomato post!
Thanks for helping spread the word about tomato abuse! It’s such a terrible epidemic…
Thanks for the link love
PS we’ll have to add you to our blogroll – I think when THF started this blog needed a writer, so I didn’t add you. Now I will.
We have to stick together! Tomatoes are our friends LOL!
Jennifer-Your welcome and thanks for adding me to your blogroll.
