Green Winner for Project Runway Canada
Monday night was the two hour finale of Project Runway Canada. What an amazing show! The production quality was fantastic, Iman was fabulous as host, Brian Bailey shon as the designer’s mentor, and the winner, Biddell, is an eclectric designer with a vivacious personality that is sure to shake up the Canadian fashion world.
So why should you care? Well, not only was Biddell’s collection visionary, it was also made out of environmentally-friendly materials. During one of his many on-camera interviews, Biddell said he chose fabrics like organic wool because he wanted to “take out all the bad that’s in fashion.”
His 10-piece collection was inspired by the cartoons of the 1990s, “when cartoons were awesome.” To check out the rest of his line, go to the show’s official site.
I’m excited to see what Biddell does next! Congratulations Biddell, I thought it was a win well-deserved!
