Handmade Delights

If you are still on the hunt for last minute gifts, check out Etsy. For yourself that is, because they are not likely to arrive in time for Christmas…slacker. They only sell handmade goods. It’s the perfect place for someone such as myself who doesn’t want to contribute to the consumerism trend, but well I just can’t NOT buy stuff. It’s a problem. So to rationalize my addiction, I will support local and handmade goods whenever possible. Here’s a few of my favorite handmade bath and body products on Etsy. The benefit of course being that they are naturally made with little to no harmful ingredients and organic ingredients when possible.

Gudonya Body Kiss from Gudonya Too is just OMG delicious. Really creative, excellent moisturizing body treatment. You will be hooked, I promise. This would be a fantastic Valentine’s Day gift for someone who hasn’t picked up on your hints just yet. They also have a Whipped Clean that will leave your skin soft and silky. The Tahitian Vanilla will make you feel like you ran away to Tahiti in the middle of Winter and left your husband and kids behind to fend for themselves.

Cozy Moment’s Chestnut and Brown Sugar creamy Goat’s Milk Soap is good for men, women and kids. There is fragrance in it but look, I still think that is better for your skin than a bar of Dial, but that’s just me. You really can’t get any fresher and they can be made to order. The only problem I find with Etsy is that I can spend hours, and way too much money, on there. I mean how many lotions can I really use? I’m up to the challenge if you are.
