Oh – the joys of getting outside. Unfortunately, my skin is not happy for it. I have been freckling, and these little brown spots and patches are creeping up on slowly, but surely.
I put out a call for products that can help these patches, and my first response was from Ole Henriksen and two of his wonderful products.

Enlighten Me Pigment Lightening Serum ($48)
This liquid serum contains THC, lactic acid, lemon and mulberry extracts, and is combined with ester-C. This serum not only helps lighten over time, but it helps suppress uneven pigmentation with regular use.

Sheer Transformation ($45)
This hydrating cream helps to fade skin discolorations without the use of chemical lighteners, as this is made with fruit acids combined with beta hydroxy acids.
Every morning, I have been applying the serum after cleansing, and then the cream. After less than a month of use, I have noticed that my freckling is starting to fade, and my patches are lighter. Combined with the fact that my skin is brighter all over, makes me feel better about these discolorations already.
All of the Ole Henriksen products are “pure, natural, high-performance products that are forever evolving through continued research. The result is a line of products that are simple to use, renewing, stimulating, hydrating and pampering in nature, and cruelty-free in formulation”.
More about Ole and his products can be found at his website, and the products can be purchased at Sephora.

I have heard nothing but good things about Ole Henriksen products. I need to try some of them!
These two that I am using for lightening and brightening certainly are!
