Personally, I’d say that any product that features recycled materials is exciting to me – especially when it makes use of plastic water bottles. I’m picking up a pair in black (watch for my review very soon).
I’ll announce the shoe winner in a few days. Good luck!
*Please note that the Keds Green Label shoe giveaway is for residents of the United States.

I love how cute they are…especially the green ones!
Stylish & green! Who needs to know any more? I think they’re fabulous and, if you don’t give me a pair (sz 8–green) I’ll go find them and buy them anyway!
Love the tree planting program, but *really* love those green keds! How cute and springy is that color?!?
Ohhhh! These are CUTE! A little old school mixed in with the new environmentally aware. Love it! But do they come in pink???
i agree- the recycled materials (shoelaces and soles) are my favorite feature, a close second is that these are made from organic cotton. i wore keds as a kid & its good to see how much they’ve progressed as a company during my lifetime so far.
I love these, they’re so cute and stylish, and the fact that they’re eco-friendly is just the icing on the cake! I especially love that the rubber bottoms are recycled. It would be really interesting if Keds ran a promotion where they allowed you to turn in an old pair of sneakers in exchange for these Green Label ones at a discount… that way even more recycling could occur!
I am impressed that they are teaming up with Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees to offset carbon footprints. That makes my view of Keds much better! WOW! THANKS!
I am absolutely stunned by the quality and quantity of sustainable/organic products on the market these days. I think its amazing that these sneaks are in no way identifiable at first glance as being anything other than regular sneakers. They look comfy, well-made, and stylish; just like normal Keds…but with the added bonus of being good for the environment!! I know its silly, but I find sustainable products more appealing (assuming they look/perform as well as regular products) because I feel like I’m doing something GOOD. Lik,e every time I use/wear a sustainable item, I’m doing my “good deed for the day”. Anyway, thats their appeal to me.
What I like best is that they’re “stylish AND sustainable”… that’s not that easy to come by!
I love that these incorporate recycled materials (and the organic cotton doesn’t hurt either). More companies should be reusing materials that are available, rather than producing new. I also like the fact that these shoes are not just cute, but affordable – so hard to find in eco-fashion today.
I like the thick soles.
I love the retro look, plus the fact that each pair means something great has been done for the environment – saved from a landfill, etc!
I love these shoes, especially the green colored ones! I have always liked wearing keds. The fact that this comfortable and fashionable shoe is going GREEN makes them even more appealing. What a great way to show that our earth is precious.
I love that a company which has been making the same product for decades can stop and look at new, better ways to do it. Keds are a wardrobe staple–comfortable and easy to wear. How much better is it that they are made from recycled plastics?!
Really petite and cute.
God bless u all!
I like the sustainability most, the fashions are a little eh, but they are better than some green lines
I love the fact that they’re not only cute and comfy but the use of recycled materials would make me feel good about wearing them. Even the laces are made from recycled water bottles..yeah for Keds!
the fact they are cute, actually in my size (big foot here) and they are recycled. my kids would love that last part as well, maybe mom will be cool for once.
What is not to like!?! I love Keds for the casual style that doesn’t look frumpy. It is a bonus that they are now earth friendly! Thanks for giving away a pair!
total fashion!

I love how they look like they are regular keds, but you get the satisfaction of knowing they are green!
I like the fact that these shoes remind me of being in middle school/High school. I remember when I got my first pair and how I felt so part of the “in” crowd. Funny how these are still stylish and still “in”. I also like the fact that they are part of the “go green” movement and would allow me to further teach my daughter the importance of not only looking good but helping the environment! Thanks for the give-a-way!!
I love love loooove the green Keds..they are such a happy green!
I love that the are still the same old fashioned style made in a sounder more earth friendly way! Yippee!
I think they are cute–especially the green ones. I like that they are 100% Organic Cotton.
I love how cute and basic they are, and that they’re sustainable, so no guilt about sporting such cute shoes!
I like that they’re planting atree for every pair sold.
Thanks for the giveaway!

Keds are just the BEST! The new green label if a fantastic idea.
I have owned Ked’s since I was three yeras old. They are my tried and true favorites. I am buying a green pair immediately. You have got to love Keds for this great idea. Let’s go green!!
Has anyone bought them yet? Looking in all dept. stores and can’t find them anywhere … want to try them on and see them instead of buying them online. If anyone can give me the name of a store(s) who have them I would GREATLY appreciate it !!!
Hi Karen. It’s my understanding that they are going to be in stores soon. I’m going to be reviewing a pair of my own very soon. I’ll write a review and let you know what I think. In the meantime, I’m going to see if I can find out when they will be available for you to try on.
WOW! I LIKE THE LOOK OF THESE AND THE FACT THAT THEY ARE REALLY …GREEN…IS GREAT. WHY CAN’T MORE COMPANIES USE RECYCLED MATERIAL!??????????? LADYHIGHTOWER@LIVE.COM
I LOVE these shoes! It’s great that they are 100% organic. I’m really for doing all I can even if it’s little to help improve our Earth. These shoes are going to be a huge seller with everyone going green now. Everyone is really attracted to the fact that they usenon-toxic inks and dyes in the shoes. They even have recycled insoles as a bonus. I am definitely in love with these shoes especailly the black ones because they have the green shoe lace hole, which is definitely making a statement. I would absolutely love to win a pair of these and become more green. Everyone should play a part in the go green movement even if it’s as somple as buying really awesome shoes!
We all know that everyone is going “green” nowadays. And we all understand that a little change can go a long way. So why not start with changing your shoes and then changing other bits of your lifestyle to go green and help our planet? These shoes may be cute, but the big thing is that they also help our planet! These shoes can help make a greener earth…one step at a time!
