Luxurious Hair

I only recently discovered the sheer awesomness of the full service hair salon. I resisted for a long time because I couldn’t justify the cost and I figured I could do a better job myself at home. I loved it and it was indeed better than I could do at home but meh, still not worth $120.00. What I am missing is this wonderful deep conditioning treatment they offer. It makes my hair so shiny and soft I just can’t stop touching it. It borders on the obscene.
I’ve been trying to replicate it and I think I have come pretty close to the results if not the wonderful smell and sexiness of the salon version. I mix a few teaspoons of olive oil with maybe a few tablespoons of canola oil and 2 tablespoons of honey. Heat in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds and them apply to your hair and comb through. Cover your head with a shower cap and then wrap a warm towel around your head. Let the mixture sit for about 20 minutes. Heck I think even and hour would be okay. Then shampoo and condition as usual. Once every month should do the trick. And heck, what did that cost you there, nothing at all.
If you’re looking to wash out of your hair easier, apply shampoo to dry hair first, work though,and then rinse and shampoo again. You’ll have an easier time getting all the oil out of your hair!
