I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday filled with too much food and too much family!
Now, back to business…
Natalie Portman recently announced that she will be designing and developing a new line of vegan shoes in partnership with Te Casan. The shoes are currently available for pre-order on January 15th and the line will be in stores sometime in February!
Not only are the shoes animal-free, 5% of the profits from the sales of these shoes will be going to charity.
Natalie Portman isn’t vegan herself, but supports animal-free and cruelty-free products!
Be sure to check back when the line is released!

I’ve never heard of vegan shoes. The only way they can be vegan if it they are made of vinyl … and there is nothing comfortable about vinyl shoes … especially when it’s 40 degree celsius in the middle of a hot summer afternoon.
This I have to see!
vegan shoes are becoming increasingly common. they use synthetic leather, hemp and all sort of other products!!
you’re right about vinyl–it’s no fun to wear
Are you sure she isn’t vegan? I read on an interview that she is…
Gisele B., you should inform yourself better before you say something about vegan shoes… Vegan shoes aren’t only made of vinyl…
My partner had Vegan Dr. Martens for years which he bought in the UK. They were really comfortable and looked great.
Natalie is now a Vegan. She made the move this year after reading Jonathan Safran Foer’s Eating Animals.
