Plant Love.

Have you heard of Plant Love from Cargo yet?

plant loveI saw a few of the lipsticks on the Sephora website, but I thought that it was just some new plant based lipstick formula. But that is not it. What is plant loving about this lipstick is the container. The lipstick case is made from corn.

The case is a bio-plastic that is not only made from a renewable resource, it is also greenhouse-gas-neutral, which helps us to fight global warming. And - And - And - the lipstick box is made from an eco-friendly flower paper. Yes - just moisten the carton, and plant it to see your wildflowers grow. How amazing is this?

This botanical lipstick comes in 12 shades, of which 5 were designed and named for celebrities, and the rest of the 7 shades were named for places of ecological beauty.

Cargo also just launched two Plant Love Lip Box Sets, one in pink and one in berry. They each retail for $59 and contain two Plant Love lipsticks, a PurseGloss, and Reversible Lip Liner. And the entire carton the set comes in will sprout a small wildflower garden when planted.

I love this! I certainly hope more brands start using more reusable and renewable sources.
