Sabon NYC – Organic Face Serum

Sabon, founded in 1997, in Israel, is now available worldwide with additional boutiques in Italy, Belguim, Romania, Polland, Holland, Canada, Japan, and the US. In 2003, Sabon NYC opened in Greenwich village and since that time, 2 more locations have opened in Soho and the Upper East Side. Sabon products are known for their wonderful natural ingredients.
They use Dead Sea Salts, aromatherapy oil, and herbs to produce high quality products that are ECOCERT, the international standard for natural products, approved.
I recently read (I’m sorry, but I can’t remember where it was that I read it) that it’s okay to forgo your regular day cream and use a serum on it’s own during the day. A serum has a lighter feel and usually feels like an instant skin plumper to me. They feel like added pure moisture back into your skin. Unfortunately, they don’t contain a sunscreen, so be sure to apply a seperate sunscreen before leaving the house.
Luckily, within a few days of reading this, Sabon’s Organic Face Serum arrived at my door. I put it to the test, in fact I am wearing it right now. It contains a mixture of the oils of the macademia nut, olive, and jojoba, medicinal plants, shea butter, aloe vera, and vitamin E.
When I read about all the oils, I worried that it would have a greasy feel to it. It doesn’t. My skin feels moist and soft. This is a great product for hot Summer days. And it smells good. So many skin care products stink. I do not want my face to stink and neither does my boyfriend, I am sure.
I have to say a little bit about the packaging… it’s lovely. My serum arrived in the beautiful gift box, wrapped with a bow. The box that holds the serum has a vintage look to it. Very nice. Sabon has a wide selection of products, perfect for gift giving.

I used to be an Oil of Olay user for years. Loved the product. However, when I wanted to make that switch to a more natural product, I found that Made from Earth’s skincare line provides the same benefits.
Three little drops of the organic Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer is all you need to cover your face. The jar can last at least three-four months depending on frequency of usage.
The Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer (from Made from Earth) is very emollient, but has actually helped my skin clear up. It smells great but not perfume-y. I did a search on the ingredients and found out that this skin cream has a lot of the same stuff as some really expensive creams that cost well over $100. I love it!
