In writing Pretty By Nature, I tend to focus a lot on skin care. To me, that’s the basis of beauty and health – healthy skin. I talk to family and friends about skin care all the time and sometimes I’m able to pass along products that I’ve tried that will help a friend with a particular skin concern, for example, an eye cream. Once, I was able to set Mom up with an entire 3 step regime. (I also like to earn Good Daughter Points).
Something that I may not have mentioned before is that I’m a Certified Massage Therapist. Massage is also an important part of beauty and health. It helps to improve circulation, remove toxins from the body, relax the muscles, and create an overall sense of well-being.
San Francisco Massage Supply Co. sent me some of their Private Blend massage oils to try. The oils are all Coconut oil-based that are infused with purpose-driven essential oil combinations.
Restore is a fractionated Coconut oil that contains Lavender, Sweet Orange, and Ginger.
Happiness has a blend of citrus – Sweet Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, and Bergamot.
The Holiday Blend is spicy with Sweet Orange, Cinnamon, Ginger, and Nutmeg.
The Holiday Blend is a personal favorite, as I’m always looking for a “spicy” scent. When I used it on my daughter, she said, “Oh my gosh! What is that? It reminds me of camping.” Okay, I don’t know why it reminds her of camping, but it does smell on the oh-my-gosh side.
I can’t find the oil blends on the company’s website, but they do have anything else you might need as far as massage supplies go. They sell essential oils in 3 sizes, so pick your own base oil (I suggest an almond), your favorite combination of essential oils, and get blendy.
