Shiny, Happy Hair

I’m the kind of person that doesn’t take chances with her hair. I recently cut my hair for the first time in…I don’t remember how long. Picture me with the same style (or lack of) I’ve had since high school. Now picture me with a very fetching “Thoroughly Modern Millie” for the millennium bob. It was seriously a life changing experience. It’s amazing how much your hair becomes your security blanket, even if it doesn’t look good. Which it didn’t. I mean it was looking REALLY bad. Why hang on to something that doesn’t make you feel good about yourself? My thirties will be dedicated to changing old habits that no longer serve a purpose.

So of course I needed new hair products to go with my new “do”. What? You didn’t see that one coming? So I already told you about the Redo Mist from Jonathan Products but I also picked up his Condition Leave-In Gloss Creme. It’s sleek, fresh and 100% Vegan. I’ve been using it every day on my fly-aways and to just give my hair a smooth, sleek finish. After a little research though, it probably has a fairly high hazard rating. Will I stop using it now? Eh, I don’t know. My personal rule is nothing over a 4 hazard rating for myself and nothing above a 2 for the bug. What to do, what to do? I think my conscience wants more for me than shiny, bouncy hair. But, I WANT the shiny hair. Waahhh.
