Pretty by Nature

Skin Food

I know this sounds like a broken record but I have sensitive skin. My poor son has really sensitive skin. I think that combined with excessive drooling from teething (these molars may kill me yet) has given him these sad little dry patches on his cheeks and chin. I picked up a tube of Weleda Skin Food a while ago with the intention of stashing it in my purse for emergencies. Yes, a dry hand emergency.

Anyway I tried it on his dry patches to maybe provide a little relief. After one day the redness went away and the dryness was completely gone by the second day. I just used a pea size amount twice a day. It works wonders on my hands but I was unsure of how his skin would react  so I am quite pleased with the results. Very gentle and non-irritating for both of us and it smells nice. The smell was gone in a few minutes though so it’s not very strong, which is also a concern when using creams on the bug. This stuff basically does everything and it’s available in drug stores. Definitely a keeper.

This is my new favorite thing. I got a wee tube at Target, to try out, in their new “We care, here’s some natural stuff” aisle.

I’ve used the whole thing. I’m thinking it’s worth buying a whole tube.

Kathy it’s definitely worth a full size. That’s cute, the we care aisle LOL
