Skincare For Young Girls

My daughter, Sarah, is 11. Throughout the last year, I’ve watched her change a lot. She’s grown curvy and moody – both signs of adolescence for sure. I’ve talked to her about deodorant, washing her hair regularly, and skincare. She is receptive, but not totally on board with the new regime.
She loves the magazine Popstar! and I noticed an ad for Good For You Girls natural skincare in the it. Perfect, I thought – something formulated especially for young girls.
I contacted the company and they sent me a 3-Step Skincare Kit for Sarah to try. It includes Gel Cleanser, Refreshing Toner, and Oil-Free Moisturizer. The products are free from harmful ingredients like petrochemicals, parabens or dyes.
Here are some product details:
Gel Cleanser: Soap-free and full of good for you ingredients like aloe, glycerin, vitamin E, olive oil, organic lavender, organic chamomile, organic calendula, as well as white, green, and black tea.
Refreshing Toner: Toner is alcohol-free and balances gently with ingredients like glycerin, white hazel, aloe, citrus, and Vitamin C.
Oil-Free Moisturizer: This is the step that young girls sometimes skip, but it’s important to moisturize skin of any age. This one uses aloe, glycerin, green, white, and black tea, flax, and rose hips.

Sarah loves the kit and I told her that it makes her skin glow, which it actually does. She’s prone to little dry skin bumps on her cheeks and her face is now very smooth. She likes having a little skincare ritual to follow – just like her older sister.
Sarah has this to say about the Good For You Girls 3-step kit:
*The moisturizer makes my skin really smooth and pretty.
*The toner makes my face shiny.
*The Gel Cleanser is sudsy, which is funny. It smells like grapefruit and cucumber.

How fun! And such a great shot of her!
She is taking good care of her skin now. Yay! The shot is from my sister-in-law’s birthday party. She was fresh out of the swimming pool.
