Spring Trend – Boldly Lined Eyes

The contrast of bold, dark eyeliner paired with fresh, bright dresses made a strong showing on the Spring 2009 fashion runways.
It’s easy to capture this same makeup look using natural or organic items. Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Liner Shadow in a dark shade like Bark, coffee Bean, Midnight Sky, Onyx, Patio Party, Soft Black, Tiger’s Eye, or Tortoise would fit the bill perfectly. To get the most dramatic effect, use a moist liner brush to apply the color along the lash line, from inner corner of eye to just beyond outer corner. Repeat along the bottom lash line.

bareMinerals Liner Shadow is smudge-proof and water resistant. It won’t bother sensitive eyes and it’s free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petro-Chemicals, and Phthalates.
The next step is a black mascara like Tarte’s Lash Hugger Natural Mascara. Apply at least two coats for the most dramatic lashes. Tarte’s Lash Hugger contains good for you ingredients like water, olive esters, rice bran wax, caranuba wax, and mineral pigments. The tube is is made up recycled aluminium.

new layout/host? i like it!
Hi Lucy. It’s the same Pretty By Nature blog, but the Beauty and Style Channel has been relaunched as Splendicity.com. It looks pretty, doesn’t it? Very exciting. Thanks for commenting.
It’s great to learn about another good natural eyeliner, thanks. I also love Borlind’s eyeliner pencil with sponge applicator on the end. It’s like the eco version of Stila’s Convertible Color!
