Jane Iredale has a unique double-ended blemish concealing stick called Zap&Hide. One end heals the blemish, while the other end conceals it as it heals.
The healing end contains tea tree and lavender oil which work together as an antiseptic and an anti-inflammatory. Both the tea tree and the lavender are organic. In addition, it’s got a good dose of algae extract which helps to curb oily skin. It is available in 3 shades – light, medium, and dark.

I have a confession to make. I hope we can keep it just between us. Ready? I’m old and tired…no seriously. What does this mean? Well it means that I’m usually in bed by 9:30-10pm and my idea of a hot date with my husband would involve a babysitter, a luxury hotel room and about 16 hours of sleep. Well and maybe the complete second season of Mad Men. The result is that I look like I’m sick or high most of the time. The bags, the dark circles and the redness are so not cute.

I just spied this from C.O. Bigelow and I am soo tempted to run out and get it tomorrow. In this kind of weather my face is majorly oily. It just drives me crazy especially on the rare occasion that I wear makeup. I’m all about the clay because I just love the way it feels going on and it leaves my skin soft but not dried out. I wasn’t able to find the ingredient info on it so I may have to see an actual bottle of it in person before I make a decision. Me likey though. Me …read more

Lavender For Mother’s Day
April 30, 2008 by Noel Boehm

I’m not a lavender fan, or at least I wasn’t. Suddenly however, lavender is having the best week ever in my house. I inadvertently purchased laundry detergent and hand wash that had lavender in it and now I am hooked. It smells so good. I don’t know what I was smelling before, but this is heavenly. I then decided that I would create a fragrant care package for my mom for Mother’s Day. Since I can’t be with her I can at least send her something relaxing and soothing. You can steal my idea if you want…posers.

Today on Planet Green there’s a great article about how to kinda sorta green your hair color. If you just can’t give it up and the more natural alternatives don’t work for you, they offer some easy ways to limit your exposure to chemicals.
Come summer I want to give my hair some warm highlights, maybe find a way to lighten me up using henna. LUSH has some great products for that.

This week’s question comes from my sister from another mother Tize. Again. You know ladies, and fellas, you can send me questions. Okay, please send me questions. I do realize that I don’t know anything about anything but I promise the answer will be entertaining even if it isn’t actually helpful. So anyway, Tize wants to know where she can purchase Figs and Rouge products in the States? Which led me to the question, “What the heck is Figs and Rouge and why can’t I get it? I checked out the site and it looks amazing. Their products are 100% Vegan …read more
