Eco-Friendly Style, Vegan Fashion

I am tired of all my stuff. All my shoes, all my skirts, all my everything. I’ve lost a little weight…..It’s time to go shopping.
I love dresses. I like the ease of a one-piece number, slip it on, and I’m ready. This Beau Soleil Beau Troy Dress is made of 100% Bamboo fabric.

Bamboo, as you know is a sustainable material, so this dress is eco-friendly, in addition to being chic and sexy. I love the deep V front and the asymmetrical hemline. It retails for $250 and if you preorder it by 4/30/09, you can save 20%.  Use the code …read more

Eco-friendly Warm Weather Fashion

I went for a hike with my mom and my daughter today. The weather was so warm, in the 80s and it’s supposed to be close to 92 tomorrow. This is sundress weather, baby! I think I’ll go shopping………..
I want this one by Lara Miller. It’s a convertible dress. Nimli describes it as, “More bang for your buck.” It’s made of eco-friendly organic cotton and bamboo. It comes in black and has a seamed top, an empire waist, and a full skirt. It features a tie that can by adjusted so that the dress is strapless, halter-style, tied …read more

My Dream Dress for Summer

My Dream Dress for Summer

I tried on some dresses today, but I couldn’t really find what I was looking for. I either didn’t like the patterns or I didn’t like the fit. Maxi dresses remind me of something that my mom used to wear when I was a little girl. My grandparents had a pool and an incredible yard for entertaining. Every year they had a luau and …read more

The One-Shoulder Trend in Eco-Friendly Organic Cotton

One-shouldered, asymmetrical tops and dresses are one of the new trends that I hope continue. There’s something light-hearted and fun about them, while also offering those of  us who need more support a tad more security than a strapless number.
This dress, Perfectly Imperfect’s One Shoulder Knotted Dress, is made of 100% Organic cotton. It has a nautical feel with it’s blue and white stripe pattern that runs on a diagonal. It features an asymmetrical hemline, that echos the top of the dress’s knotted single shoulder strap.
