]]> This red-carpet season, the theme is “eco-friendly.” The Emmy’s’ red carpet was nixed in favor of a carpet made out of recycled pop bottles.

In the spirit of this, I thought I’d showcase some red-carpet ready and affordable dresses that are eco-friendly too!

Cowl Neck Bamboo
I love this dress. It’s classy and elegant but sexy at the same time. The bamboo jersey will cling to your curves in a way that’s forgiving, not menacing.

Bamboo Ring Gown
This sleek black number is a little less daring than the previous piece. However, it’s still sleek, sexy and stylish! This bamboo jersey dress is by Kelly B. It shows off its bamboo roots proudly with a bamboo ring at the back (not shown) that brings the halter together.
