Reading Labels.

I regularly read food labels for calorie content, sodium, fat, etc., and now I am reading labels on my beauty products too.
As many beauty brands claim to be natural, natural based, or organic – how can one really tell? Many companies use a few healthy ingredients mixed in with mostly synthetic chemical and petroleum based colors, fragrances and preventives so they can call their product “natural based”. I have recently started drinking more than just a few cups of Green Tea every day. I like it warm, and sometimes cooled, with a slice of lemon. More importantly, I know I am reaping the benefits of it’s strong antioxidant properties.
A friend of mine recently suggested bathing in a warm tub sweetened with tub tea. And guess what? It is addicting just as well.

As I am deeply immersing myself into more things natural and organic, I am wondering where to draw the line.
For example – toothpaste. I have always used Crest – from my early childhood years, and still do to this day.
