Green Celeb Style: Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere is a fearless eco-warrier. She’s currently the public face for the Save the Whales Again! campaign!

It’s great to see that Hayden takes the environmental route with less sexy activities, like getting groceries! Here she is yesterday, carrying her goodies in some colorful reusable bags after a trip to Whole Foods.
Thanks to ecorazzi for the tip!

Green Celeb Style: Halle Berry

The real celeb in question here is not Halle Berry herself, but her yet-to-be-born baby!
After publicly announcing that she was three months pregnant (congrats Halle!), she was spotted out buying organic cotton baby gear.
She picked up a pant and t-shirt set from Baby Brown’s. Baby Brown’s has tons of adorable baby clothes made out of environmentally-friendly organic cotton.
I strongly suggest you follow Halle’s lead and check out what they have here.

Green Celeb Style: Minnie Driver

Minnie Driver was spotted purchasing a 95% bamboo top from Sameunderneath when she was in Portland on her tour. She got a top that was similar to this (but not exactly!)

According to Ecorazzi, she picked up a top from their fall 2008 collection that will be available online on September 1st.
Sameunderneath has a really nice mission statement. I’ll share it with you here:

Sameunderneath is a concept, belief, and a way of life that we carry through personal fashion. We feel that Sameunderneath is not only a clothing company, but also a belief in life itself. Society must not …read more

Green Celeb Style: Rachel McAdams

Sometimes, being absolutely green with style means more than the clothes you wear. It’s also about how you live your life.

Canadian cutie (and fellow green blogger!) Rachel McAdams certainly looks good riding her bike in Toronto. Rachel’s bike is her primary means of transportation and she’s been photographed biking to work and to play in Toronto, Los Angeles and New York.
She also proves you can use a bike to get around and still look fashionable!

Green Celeb Style: Jane Fonda

Green Celeb Style: Jane Fonda

When Jane Fonda appeared on David Letterman in May to promote the Lindsay Lohan movie ‘Georgia Rule’, Jane looked fabulous!
Part of the reason she looked so great were the milk fiber sweater and hemp slacks she wore by eco-designer Linda Loudermilk.
When talking about the outfit, Jane joked “you can drink my top and smoke my bottom!”
I couldn’t find a decent photo of this outfit, and screen shots would hardly suffice such beautiful clothing, so here is a clip of Ms. Fonda gettin’ her green on:

Both pieces were from Linda’s Fall 2007 collection, which you can check out for yourself …read more

Green Celeb Style: Charles and Camilla

Prince Charles has been gaining quite the reputation as an eco-activist. He’s been working on an eco-bed & breakfast, promoted hybrid vehicles and has been seen at many green events.
Here, he takes his green-loving ways one step further: he’s wearing them. Below, are two pictures of Charles and wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles. The pictures were taken two weeks apart at two different events.

I know wearing the same outfit twice isn’t really all that green. I do it all the time. I have one staple wedding outfit, one staple funeral outfit and everyone has seen them several times.
However, it’s different when celebrities …read more

Green Celeb Style: Vanessa Minnillo

Nahui Ollin’s candy wrapper handbags are a hit with celebrities. The bags, designed by Olga Abadi, are made through an ancient Mayan binding technique.
Several celebrities have been spotted carrying these bags, including Joely Fisher, Sophia Bush, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth and Vanessa Minnillio. Check Vanessa out, showing off her bag at the Think PR & Caravan UpFronts in New York City recently!

The bags are handmade from hundreds of candy wrappers and soda labels. They are then individually bound together, which makes every bag completely unique.
The bags run from $28.00 for a teeny coin purse to $210.00 for a full sized …read more
