My sister, Robin, and I used to make natural facial masks at home using plain oatmeal and honey. We’d mix the two together, spread it on our face, and then wait. After rinsing the sticky mixture away, we’d get close to the mirror and examine our faces. “Do you see any difference?” we’d ask each other. Facial masks are a fun way to slow down and relax, so there’s definitely an emotional benefit, as well.

Homemade Cuticle Softener

Since I quit my 9-5 a few months ago I’ve had a hard time staying on top of certain things. I mean my nails and hair had to look at least marginally presentable when I was in the office but at home the expectations are obviously not the same. I’m lucky if I actually shower every day. Between the lowered standards and excessive hand washing, my nails and cuticles have been so dry. It’s been driving me crazy.

Pursha Earl Grey and Cacao soap. I’ll take a scone with that please. No seriously does this not look amazing. My soap list is getting quite long.
