My favorite  style of earrings is a hoop. I can still remember my very first pair of little gold hoops, when I was 11. This pair of silver hoops was made by the Green Diva Jewelry company out of hammered, recycled silver. The hammered texture gives the timeless classic hoop a “…bit of an edge.”  They are 2.5 inches in diameter.

Here’s something interesting (possibly just to me, but I hope not….), are you looking for something unique in accessories?  How about the latest in Coprolite jewelry. Coprolite?  Is that a fancy gemstone?  Well, not exactly. Coprolite is fossilized poop. Yes, poop.
Jewelry is made from moose and deer poop, but there are many sources of coprolite out there, including dinosaur, fish, turtle, crocodile, and shark coprolite. I’ll have to do some research to see if there is any dinosaur poop jewelry (what kid wouldn’t be fascinated by that?) out there.

Fair trade is important because it assures the consumer that the artisan who made the piece was paid a fair wage and was working in humane conditions. Those are things that many people here in the US take for granted. Items offered in the shop include clothing, candles, home decor, bath and beauty products, food, paper goods, and children’s toys.
