As family and friends start to trickle in for the Holidays, I really like to lay out the welcome mat. I absolutely love entertaining…in theory. Getting the rooms ready and planning meals etc., is all great. Then after about a day I remember that I actually don’t like people all that much. Like, um so when are you leaving again? So let’s just focus on the fun part. It’s nice to leave the special soaps and lotions in the guest bathroom. In all of my home makeover madness (oh,maybe I just mentioned it on my other b5 blog I write for), we finally got the bathroom off the kitchen back to working order. It is such a relief not to send everyone upstairs to use the facilities.
I decorated it in pretty yellows, and creamy neutral whites, with just a splash of lavender. And this, L’Occitane Lavender Hand Duo, inspired me to bring in this lovely lavender shade.
