Here is a website totally obsessed with natural and organic foods. The author, Debra Lynn Dadd, makes a good point about Mineral Oil, which is that since it’s essentially industrial waste, it’s great that it’s used in products and not put back into the earth. So on the one hand, use it up! On the other hand? If we were using solar power and electric (car) power, would we need to use up the waste of the carbon-emitting products? Just thinking out loud on the blog.

The peeps who love the mineral oil are a devoted, nay, extremist bunch. I have never seen a more angry reaction to me saying that mineral oil is bad for you than I did when I said the Doodlebops are creepy (yes they are!). I know it works well as a lubricant and softener, that’s well established. And the Beauty Brains has numerous posts extolling its virtues (and they ought to know!)
