Showing off Your Tan.

We all like to show off our brown, tanned skin (whether the tan is natural or not). And I have found the nicest oils from one of my favorite natural beauty brands to aid in just that.
Carol’s Daughter, has a solution. A browning oil with an SPF – who would have thought it? Meet Carol’s Daughter Gelee de Soleil Browning Oil, with SPF 15. Blocking both UVA and UVB rays, the oil smells deliciously of coconut and pineapple. Gelee de Soleil is formulated with exotic palm kernel oil, cocoa, shea, mango and avocado butters to nourish skin as we show …read more

New Natural Self-Tanner Launch.

A few weeks ago, I told you about Tarte’s products that were full of natural, Skinvigorating™ Ingredients. Tomorrow, Maureen Kelly, creator of Tarte Cosmetics, will launch Sunburst Body on QVC.
If you are looking for a nice, build able self-tanner for you body, then you should definitely check out Sunburst Body. I have used this moisturizing self-tanner on my legs and I really like the results. To use, I squeeze out about a quarter sized amount, and rub the lotion together in my hands until the beads burst. I then apply Sunburst Body just like a lotion, but more carefully …read more

Who knew that one of my all time favorite makeup lines was so full of such wonderfully natural ingredient based products?
Tarte Cosmetics is really focusing on the ingredients in their products, and I am am sort of embarassed to report that I never really realized this. I knew that their latest Inside Out Lipgloss had many natural benefits to it, but besides that – I didn’t know.

Setting the Natural Standard.

Burt’s Bees is taking a stand and making a point to clear up all this confusion as to what is and is not natural.
Burt’s Bees realize that consumers are very confused about this and to what exactly constitutes a “natural” product. So, they are Setting The Natural Standard. This will be a definition about what is and isn’t natural that they hope, by working directly with competitors and the industry at large, will clear up all this confusion while holding “natural” to the highest possible standard.
The following is what Burt’s Bees has set as their natural standard, and are …read more

Pure Inventions Green Tea Extracts.

Now this is an invention. And with much interest in my Green Tea posts, I thought I would share with you the latest way I found to get your green tea benefits.
You see, that in order to reap the benefits of Green Tea, you would have to drink 6-8 cups of Green Tea each day. Pure Inventions is changing this with it’s convenient and easy-to-use new way to get all the advantages of green tea without the caffeine, calories, artificial sweeteners and/or sugar.
This is the Pure Inventions Green Tea Extracts, a collection of naturally-flavored, antioxidant-rich nutritional supplements, that helps you …read more

Sea Derived Skin Care.

I received a great goodie basket filled with products from H20 Plus for Mother’s Day. I can’t wait to try these beauties.
Look at what was inside this beautiful grass cloth basket.

Sea Marine Scrub
Exfoliating Body Butter
Pumice Foot Scrub
Exfoliating Body Wash
Smoothing Hand and Foot Therapy Jar
It is so pretty and still sitting out on my vanity, but I can’t wait to break it open. I desperately need all of these exfoliating products.
In looking at the H20Plus site, I have discovered that their products are all based on sea derived ingredients, and the major one being water.
I’ll let you know my results soon.

Naturally Beautiful.

Kudos’ to these beautiful celebrities who decided to take it off – their makeup that is – and pose for People magazine.

Drew Barrymore couldn’t be more fresh faced and radiant, don’t you think? It is no wonder Cover Girl just signed her as their new model. Too cute! She is 32 years old, but looks not a day over 21 in her more natural state, if you ask me.
Eva Longoria is obviously naturally gorgeous with her soft features. But I do like her made up to be not so “even toned” and clean looking. She is a sexy woman, …read more

Tuesdays Tips – A Sweet Banana Face Mask.

While over a friends house recently, she was cleaning out her kitchen and threw away some old fruit. She had an over-ripe banana, and I wondered why she did not dispose of that as well. She said that she was saving it to mash up and make her own Banana Face Mask.
Being totally interested, she mixed up a small batch and we used it on our hands, but she swears it is the best facial mask she has ever used.
To make this mask, simply take a banana, ripe or over-ripe, peel it, and mash it up in a bowl. Then …read more

Terressentials.

Terressentials is different in the way it produces it’s organic beauty products. Not only are their products 100% Organic, they are formulated with only 100% Organic Food Ingredients. WOW!
The products are all hand-crafted in small batches.
My favorite product of Terressentials is hands down the Cool Mint Body Wash. What a way to start your day with a minty fresh “wake-me-up” in the shower. It retails for $11.75. And it is nice to know that the lather you get from this wash is made from the traditional cold-process castile soap made from certified organic olive oil.
Their website is also a …read more
