Don’t forget to go organic when shopping for baby. A baby’s delicate skin will appreciate the gentler touch of a fabric that is free from toxic dyes or chemicals. The Organic Baby Wearhouse carries a wide selection of baby clothes, bedding, diapers, gifts, skin care, and toys.
Here are a few examples of the stylish, eco-friendly apparel……
Corduroy Kimono Dress
$39.95
There’s so much to love about this little kimono dress….
I love the color combo of cocoa brown and a light green, it reminds me of my favorite mint chocolate chip ice cream. This little dress would look adorable over a pair of little …read more

Today I followed a link from this gorgeous little 100% silk Daisy Bra. It is totally unsuitable for a woman built like I am, but so very pretty. Each bra is made to order, styled after a lovely flower. Just so beautiful….
Then, I found something perfect for Pretty By Nature – an organic bamboo jersey t-shirt – the knickers are also available.
Sally T-Shirt
$38
This shirt was inspired by Holly Golightly of Breakfast At Tiffany’s fame. It has fluttery bell-shaped sleeves and is gathered at the bottom. Here’s a bit about the advantages of using a fabric like organic bamboo jersey, …read more

How cute are the ruffles on this vest by Kelly B? It’s made out of organic wool and will add warmth to any winter outfit! Plus, its girly enough it can easily be dressed up or down, unlike a lot of vests!
It’s on sale at Hip & Zen for $165.00. It only comes in cream, so be careful when you wear it!!

Some say this trend is on its way out, but I honestly can’t help but love it! It slims and elongates your silhouette. Not everyone can wear it, but with the right gal and right pair of jeans, it looks fabulous.
These high-waisted Traci jeans by Aoki just might be the perfect pair. The wide legs balance the high waist and the delicate pocket detail makes them distinctly feminine. The best part–they are made out of 100% organic cotton!
You can order your pair for $198.00 from gominyc.
Googling Eco-Fashion

When I think of eco-fashion designers, I think Stella McCartney, Linda Loudermilk, Kelly B…not Google.
Yet, here we are. You now can get Google paraphernalia that is made out of organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and soybeans.
So, while calling them designers was a bit of a stretch (the garments consist of your basic caps, tees and hoodies), it’s a little weird to see these guys branch out into the world of eco-fashion. Good — very, very good — but weird.
My pick? The basic tee. I love the contrast of colorful Google logo against the white and the cheeky “I’m Feeling Lucky” on …read more
