Sudz are available in a shower gel, a foaming pump, and a bar soap.

My family is currently enjoying all three forms of Kiss My Face Organic Sudz. I love the scent. Eucalyptus, yum. The soap has a vegetable base, with palm oil, and absolutely no animal by-products. The foam pump works great – the sort that adds air and only uses a small amount of gel-soap. The shower gel’s flip-top broke off the very first time that I opened it. I can prop it up against the side, so it won’t leak, but I can’t take it with me if I go out of town. I don’t know if that matters much, but I think it could use a stronger top.

My husband is the ultimate gift giver. He puts lots of thought into it and it’s always something I wasn’t expecting or had even forgotten about but REALLY wanted. It’s rarely anything lavish, just really thoughtful. I on the other hand am a horrible gifter. I have every intention of planning ahead but then the date is upon me and I’m scrambling at the last minute. I will never live down the fact that I forgot his birthday one year and only remembered when the checkout guy at the market said, “hey happy birthday”.

This year for Father’s Day I’m really trying to get it together. I’m secretly amassing a bevy of little treats for him. At least one of them is sure to convince him that I tried. When I came across my latest Etsy find I knew it had to be included. Homemade Fight Club bar of soap from Beth’s Craft’s is just perfect. He loves Chuck Palahniuk and the movie. I know he would think it was funny and because he’s frugal like that, he would use it. It’s got Vitamin E oil, grapefruit oil, goats milk and other things that you can easily pronounce. What do you think? Would you ever get this for your Dad? I’m thinking men of a certain generation would not get it. Tacky?

I was perusing Etsy again today, as usual, and I came across some amazing looking natural soaps. Etsy seller Onono makes all natural soaps using essential oils, avocado oil and dried herbs and spices. They are cute as a button little soaps which would look great on display in a bathroom or in a gift basket. I’m eying the Green Tea soap which also contains, coconut oil and Shea butter. How exotic. I have so many birthdays this month so I thought maybe I would just send a big box of goodies to the recipients all containing gifts around a theme. How about a green tea theme for someone? At only $6.00 a pop I could easily buy up all of their offerings. The coconut lime with crushed bamboo  is calling my name. Please stop me before I get out of hand.
