The tops are customized – you pick the color and material combination for your shirt and it’s sized to your specifications. Each tunic takes 3 weeks to make,  so if you are planning to make it a gift, keep that in mind.

Chunky stretch Ribbed scooped collar adorned with ruffles. Removable Brooch, made of cluster of buttons and ribbon, add little touch of embellishment, removable for washing, or even worn on an outer shell to make a matching combo to your look.. Matching stretch ribbing waist band, pulls over easily.

These earrings are not only beautiful, but they are also part of a wonderful program called Etsy Project Embrace  (TeamEPE) and 20% of the profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

This 70s era dress features a peekaboo sequined front section, spaghetti straps, rouched bodice, and a very interesting skirt. It’s gathered and asymetrical while also being flowy. The dress is sized 5/6, but is estimated at closer to a modern size 4.

This 80s area crepe cocktail dress would also make a great tunic. It’s in excellent condition and sized Medium. The back has a open key-hole that is accented by a big black bow.

Named for, I’m assuming, Sue Ellen Ewing, Lulu’s believes that this dress says, “I’m a man-eater who just stepped out of 1985.”  I think it looks like a sexy secretary dress, which is one of my favorite vintage looks.  The dress is in Very Good condition (small stain in asymmetrical purple section). It’s sized as a 4/6.

The sisters are creative by influence and choice – their interview says that they are “from a family of artists…” Courtney Spivak teaches communications at the college level, makes short independent films, and is also a musician. Christina Spivak is a stylist and commercial photographer. She’s worked in both independent and Hollywood film. The sisters began by selling their pieces in craft fairs and now their work is available at Etsy.

This is effective in that it keeps my hair off of my neck, but it’s also a bit boring. I like to use ponytail holders with faux flowers attached or pinned on sometimes. I like to pick a faux flower that looks faux on purpose, made of cloth, perhaps a patterned piece of material. I am not trying to pull of a Real Flower look, just adding something fun to an otherwise boring ponytail.

I found these cute silky fabric flowers with the faux seed pearls at Artfire. Artfire is like Etsy – a sort of online mall full of beautiful handmade items. The fabric used for the flower clips was upcycled, so these are eco-friendly, too. They are attached to new hairpins, the seller mentions they are the Goody brand.

Plaid shirts. They are my soft spot, since I embraced the grunge trend as a kid like it was my own creation.

Now, I tend to wear my plaid under tube tops or as a loose J. Crew but cooler look.

This great top is made of recycled plaid cowboy shirts. I don’t know what could be more awesome.
