]]> victorias secret greenOkay, I apologize for the seriously lame title. But it’s true! The lingerie giant, Victoria’s Secret recently announced its plans for a ‘green apparel’ line that will be available in spring 2008.

The line will include tanks, tops and accessories made out of organic cotton.

“This is definitely the right next step,” a spokesperson for Victoria’s Secret Pink confirmed to The Daily. “Customers love our brand and are very aware of the environment right now. Everyone is conscious of it.”

The spokesperson also admitted the line is looking for other venues through which it can raise public awareness about the environment and other issues.

This is such a great move! Heidi and organic cotton…totally hot.
