The 30 Day Veg Pledge.

I am going to do it. Really, I am. I am taking PETA’s 30 Day Veg Pledge.
Here is the pledge I am taking:
I want to eat better, feel better, and stop supporting cruelty to chickens, pigs, cows, fish, and other animals raised for food. By signing my name, I pledge to explore vegetarianism for at least 30 days.
I am doing it more to see how I feel – yes, slap me if you want, but the reason is better than none, right?
If you would like to join me and celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Mary Tyler Moore, Joaquin Phoenix, Brandy, Alicia Silverstone, Paul McCartney, and many more by taking the pledge, you can do so by signing up here.
Also, the GoVeg website has great ways to help you transition yourself to becoming a vegetarian. The recipes and tips are inspiring.
If you are onboard and want to try to make this lifestyle change, please let me know so we can support each other!

You might check out our own Veggie Chic as well – shes quite entertaining and full of helpful info.
You are a better woman than me, Teri – even though I have a couple of pet cows who I dearly love, steak is by far my favorite food.
Good luck to you!
I guess I should be checking our own b5media blogs first! She has some great ideas…
With that said, I had an unexpected dinner invite to a burger and ribs place tonight – can you believe it? And you know what? I had such a long day that I forgot about my pledge and accepted the invitation. Thankfully, I remembered when I was looking over the menu, and I found their very own home-made veggie burgers which were out of this world!!!
Excellent post! I have recently gone vegetarian (In January) and am feeling great so far. I was inspired to signup for the 30-day pledge as well to help keep myself on track!
