I have been enjoying some new blogs lately. Blogs that I am sure you would be interested in as well. These blogs all have a theme, just as does Pretty by Nature. Can you guess what it is? Blogs all about living a more natural, healthy, and eco-conscious life. And better yet, all of these “green” blogs are right here at b5media!

First, there is my sister blog, Chic by Nature, right here in the b5media Beauty & Style Channel. Check in with Erin every now and then to see her latest eco-friendly fashion finds.

The we have Mother Earth’s Garden, which is all about one of my favorite things, gardening, and how we can incorporate more growing and composting into our lives.

We also have Veggie Chic, just for the vegetarians, and those who want to make this change.

Last by not least, we have Eco Friendly Driver a fairly new blog for b5media. This blog is devoted to helping us better use our resources, other than on gassing up with so much fuel.

In case you have not visited the rest of the growing Beauty & Style channel here at b5media, I wanted to point out some of my favorite posts from my lovely colleagues.

Chic by Nature found a beautiful animal print “Chic Green” handbag from a company that uses reclaimed and vintage fabrics. I am so glad to hear this and can’t wait to explore more from their line.
I now understand why Hot Mama Daily is called just that: one hot mama. All you have to do is look at her recent shoe picks she found to understand
She Knows Best shares how to help your man find the perfect, vintage suit. Nothing like a hot guy in a hot suit – agreed?
Style It Less shows off her new pretty tube top she just scored for $4.99. I’ll take a few!
Have you heard? There is a new trend for Fall, and Tops 2 Bottoms has the best ideas to keep up with the new gray trends. I’m loving it.

I hope you are loving the entire beauty and style channel here at b5media. I am proud to be associated with such a great group of bloggers who are passionate about what they write, and are just as obsessed with beauty/style/fashion as I.

b5 just added three new Blogs to the channel here, and I wanted to introduce you to them:

I Have Been Tagged!

The wonderful Shannon of Makeup Minute fame, has tagged me in this fun little tagging game.

Here are the rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. They then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, letting them know they have been tagged and to read the blog.

Here goes:
1. My husband of 18 years and I are the proud parents of four children – 3 boys; 15, 10, 7, and one girl; 11.

2. If I had to, I could live on Diet Coke and Smartfood Popcorn.

3. I don’t drink coffee – never have and never will. I can’t even stand the smell of it.

4. I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup until I was 17, and I have been hooked on it ever since.

5. I love to garden, and obsess over my beautiful green grass.

6. I turned 40 years old just two weeks ago – and I am having a hard time with it.

7. In my makeup obsession, I have collected 252 lip gloss’s and 135 bottles of nail polish. I am afraid to count the rest.

Comments for a Cure Campaign.

I surely hope you are not sick of this yet, but I am here with an update.

I am happy to report that as of this writing, Pretty by Nature has 18 comments! I am so happy, and than you so much.

It is not too late to leave a comment. Remember, that I will donate $1 for every comment left on this blog until midnight tonight to The National Brain Tumor Foundation. And if you would, please visit my other two blogs I write for, Aging Fabulous and Beautiful Makeup Search, and just copy your comment there as well. It will mean more money for a cure.

Later this week, The Beauty Blog Network will have a few great auctions that will go up on ebay with the most fantastic products (worth more than $1000) that were donated by many of our friends in the beauty business. I will post a link to that as soon as it is live. It is a not to miss auction event, for sure! All of the money from the auctions will be donated to The American Cancer Society.

Comments For a Cure.

The members of The Beauty Blog Network (which I belong to) have come together to support our friends who are dealing with cancer. In this, we have created Comments For a Cure.

As my brother was diagnosed with GBM Grade IV (a life threatening brain tumor) in February, I knew I had to get involved with Comments For a Cure. Now I am asking you to get involved as well.

For each comment that is left on this post today (June 4th) through Wednesday (June 6th), I will donate $1 to The National Brain Tumor Foundation. So, please leave a comment. All you have to say is something like “I support your cause” or “I like your blog” or “Have a nice day”…anything! Just leave the comment!
