Chic: Simple, but totally chic. This necklace has a pretty white side and an interesting side with more brown tones. Mother of Pearl is one of my favorite materials because it seems to shimmer and glow in light.
Green: The necklace is made of mother of pearl, a totally natural resource and a byproduct of the food industry. The chain is made with fair trade 14K gold.

Is it time for holiday parties yet? I love the slinkyness of this dress from Beau Soleil. The ruching on the waist is perfect if you’ve got a giant holiday meal to eat or if your Mom’s cookies are too good to resist.

The leather wrist cuff is seriously cute. it adds a harder look to this otherwise vixen-esque dress.

This necklace is full of Fair Trade goodness.
The pendants are hand-carved by artisans from sienna and red tagua. Women’s cooperatives from Bali, Ecudor and the US worked together to make this necklace happen, so it’s got a lot of love and hard work in it.
I love the simplicity of the necklace. It’ll be great for a party.

Mandalas have always fascinated me. I think they’re so beautiful and definitely resonate with anyone who mediates or does yoga.
Mandinez is a line by Jivelle Callender that features mandalas on tee-shirts and bags. New mandalas are released periodically and you can choose from the 14 available.
Every single tee is made sweatshop free and with organic cotton. The sizing goes up to 2XL so everyone can wear their peace with Maninez.

Fair Trade Wooden Bangles

I love a bold wooden accessory. Who doesn’t? And the latest fashion magazine (I forget which one!) I read told me that bangles were in this spring.
So, imagine my excitement when I came across these funky fair trade bangles by Organic Style. They are made by a Bali-based fair trade organization that helps women keep traditional crafts and skills thriving and provides them with income.
They are $28.95 each, but I’d but like four or five. Remember the eighties? The more, the merrier!
