I picked up the November 2009 issue of InStyle magazine.  I found a lot of great styles and beauty tips. One section talked about 10 ways To Look 5 Years Younger.  Here are a few of the tips that I found especially useful:
*Don’t over-highlight blond hair. The golden tones are what you want. Jennifer Aniston is the perfect example. Only Gwen Stefani call truly pull off platinum.
*When choosing jeans, look for a pair with at least 2 percent Lycra. The stretch will help to support your figure and it makes your butt look better.

Yesterday, I told you about the mineral makeup carried by AVON – until then I wasn’t even aware that they were carrying it. Another surprise -  M.A.C. Cosmetics now carries a Mineralized line. Two new Mineralize kits are available and you get them shipped free until the 24th of October, 2009. These kits are limited-edition exclusives. In the past I’ve tried M.A.C. eye shadows – my sister uses the brand. I liked the depth and the brightness of the colors. I’m glad to see that they are carrying mineral makeup now. Hopefully more companies will follow this trend.

When I first started wearing makeup, there were these little pots of all-in-one color available. One part hippie-chic, one part magic potion, the pretty little pots held powder in a single tone – rose, pink, gold, peach. They were ceramic and sealed with a cork. You’d pull the cork out and run a fluffy brush over the powder. The color could be used on checks, eyelids, or you could mix it with a small amount of clear gloss to form a lip color.
