Did you know that an Orange, besides being a great Vitamin C source for your skin, has wonderful astringent properties that are perfect for oily skins?

Here is a wonderful recipe for you oily skin sufferers:
All you need is 1/2 of an Orange and 4 Tablespoons of Cornmeal. Simply squeeze the half of the orange and pulp into a bowl. Mix in the Cornmeal until it forms a paste. Now, apply the paste as a mask to freshly cleansed skin. Leave the paste (mask) on for about 5 minutes and rinse well.

Oh, yeah – eat the other half of the orange!

Please do share if you have any homemade beauty recipes, and I just may post it in Tuesday’s Tips.

how often would you do this?

  2. Teri says:

I guess you could use this mask like any treatment mask, usually once a week if it is working for your skin.

Please let us know if it worked for you, and how often you decide to use it.
