Vaute Couture is a small fashion house that specializes in vegan clothing. They have a line of gorgeous coats made out of recycled materials. I especially love the Luxe coat. The design was inspired by the art of Brooke Hagle.
The Luxe is available in Black, Blue, Ivory, and Gray. It has a gorgeous feminine shape, an assymetrical collar, full sleeves, and a pleated coat “skirt.” This is a warm coat that flatters, rather than hides the female figure.

VAUTE Luxe Coat
$562
The coat is wind and snow resistant, with a lining made of a “Closed Loop, Zero Waste Satin Ripstop from Tejin® EcoCircle®.” The buttons are made from Tagua Nut which is a renewable resource. Only 25 coats will be made in each color – they are currently sold out of the extra large in the blue. Pre order your coat now. You definitely want to get it before the cold weather hits.
For more information on the pre ordering process click here and if you’d like to see the other styles available, take a look here.
All net profits go the Farm Sanctuary. There’s a farm Sanctuary down the road from me in Orland, CA. They rescue formerly abused animals. It’s really a wonderful place.
