Heart on Your Sleeve is a fantastic little eco-boutique in Kensington Market in Toronto, CA. It carries eco-friendly brands like BYOB, Devil May Wear, grace & cello, Love Updates and more!
Their store philosophy:
With an inspired commitment to green living, we offer ethical fashion at its most stylish. Everything we carry is selected to meet the needs of the compassionate consumer: ethical clothing alternatives to unify inner and outer beauty.
When I stopped by, the store had an awesome funky artsy vibe. There were lots of colorful dresses and bags and deconstructed shirts all made out of recycled, organic, soy or sustainable materials.
They don’t have an online shopping option yet, but there is promise is it coming soon! The store is also internet savvy — check out their blog. They also recently won the “Best up-and-coming green store” and “best green fashion store” in the 2007 Best of Toronto by NOW Magazine.
So, if anyone is in the Toronto area, make sure you check it out. Kensington is filled with fantastic second hand shops too!
