What’s Up at Chic By Nature

I’ve been running this blog for about a week, and am slowly getting all the kinks worked out.
I’m settling in quite nicely here at the Beauty & Style Channel and have really enjoyed it so far. (Ask me again in three months or so — I bet I’ll change my mind!).
I wanted to bring you the low-down on how I’m going to structure this blog. As well as bringing you the latest in green designers, sales and products, I’m hoping to have a different daily feature for you.
Here’s what you should expect to see from Chic By Nature in the coming weeks:
Chic Ensembles — I’ll put together for you a trendy outfit, copy a celeb’s style or find the right green look for any occasion. If you have a request, send it my way.
Green Celeb Style – when celebs are caught in green fashion, I plan on showcasing it here
Chic Splurge — This is where I will showcase products and garments that are a teensy bit expensive, but too fantastic to ignore.
Chic Steal – This is to counter-act the indulgences we made on Wednesday!
Chic Link Love — There are lots of great blogs out there, and I read a lot of them. Here, I plan on rounding up my favorite reads from the week to share with you.
There will be tons more coming from Chic By Nature too! I can promise you that. And, if I ever get a microphone, I’ll be going multimedia and podcasting it green style.
But not today.
I’ve divided up the categories into the following:
Accessories: Fairly self explanatory, eh?
Clothing & Fashion: Again, you’re a smart cookie. You get it.
Chic By Nature: For site news, channel news and b5media news
Go Local: An important component of being environmentally friendly is to account for the carbon footprint of the products. Since the readership of b5media is global, this can direct you to the companies, products and sales that are in your corner of the globe!
Materials: There are tons of different materials that are used out there to make a garment “eco-friendly”. This will let you work through all the bamboo, organic, and recycled stuff out there!
I think that is everything! If you have any questions, comments, concerns or ideas for this blog, send them my way!
