Where To Get The Goods

I find on many occasions that in order to get something I need or want, be it natural and/or organic goods or whatever, it ends up being a choice between the lesser of two evils. Either I order it online or I have to drive to the ends of the earth to get it…with a toddler…a screaming toddler. What makes either one of these options slightly less painful is the ability to get what I need all in one place. There are some retailers that are now trying to make this easier for people. I’m sure it’s motivated by how hot everything green is these days. That turns me off a bit but I thought it was at least worth a browse.
iShopGreen brings together a whole crapload of green goods ranging from energy efficient office equipment to
organic toe socks and lotion. I’m not even joking about the toe socks. Or yoga socks if you will. I swear if they were striped and came with a pair of pajama pants you would have the prefect college freshman wardrobe.
If you happen to be around Fred Segal, you know after you’ve had lunch with your peeps from CAA, you can mosey on over to Fred Segal Green and get the latest in “green-chic living” furnishings and decor. Mmmmkay. Dude we’ve got the green-chic furnishing down pat ‘cept for we call Salvation Army, Craigslist, IKEA as-is section umm chic. Hells yeah. Please tell me about any truly eco-friendly brick and mortars around you. What are your favorite online sites to get “green” things?
