10 Must-Have Accessories

I’m sure most of you already know the must-have accessories in your closet but for our young Men out there facing the real world, here’s a basic guideline for accessories. Something to start you off once you find yourself thinking, “oh wow, I actually need to build a sensible collection to look decent and prepared to face reality“.
NECKTIES – it’s considered the most expressive piece of Men’s clothing. To quote Oscar Wilde, “a well tied tie is the first serious step in life“. For a bolder look, wide neckties are much preferred. Skinny ties can be a bit tricky coz one season it’s in, the next, fashion critics want to strangle you with it. And of course, silk fabric is a must buy.
SILK POCKET SQUARE – this is one accessory that some Men have forgotten. Believe it or now, pocket squares could work with jeans or suit attires.
CUFF LINKS — for a formal, polish, and “i mean business” look with subtle wit and suave flair.
WATCH — besides telling time (DO’H), it gives a man sensible aura and status.
WALLET — for credit cards. These days, cash are kept on money clips, placed in front pockets.
LEATHER GLOVES — for a dressy occasion, pick cashmere lining with supple calf or deerskin. A wool-lined cowhide is preferred for snowball fights.
SUNGLASSES — not only does it give you UV protection, sunglasses make you look cool and damn sexy. Especially the Aviators.
CASHMERE SCARF — is there anything better than a cashmere scarf? Subtle patterns like plaid or lighter colors would work better as contrasts for your overcoat.
LEATHER BELTS — because a Man is not fully dressed without a belt. So you might as well make it leather. Just try not to wear huge buckles the size of a glass coaster. Unless oof course you’re going to the rodeo. In any case, simplicity works best.
SOCKS — well, I don’t know any Men who has never worn socks in their lifetime. As long as you don’t wear it with loafers or sandals during the summer then you must enjoy your socks.
