Ben Affleck Finally Shaved, YAY!

Ben Affleck must have read my comment *ahem* that I made last week regarding his facial hair. I loved his new hairstyle but his facial hair was another story. I wished that he will shave soon and he did. Ben Affleck looks more handsome than ever .

Digressing from his improved look, Ben Affleck just launched a documentary called Gimme Shelter. The latter is a 4-minute short film documenting the humanitarian crisis currently happening at the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Gimme Shelter hopes to focus on the issues that everyone should be paying attention to instead of just looking away.

Props to Ben Affleck for using his fame for good causes like this. It makes his facial hair issues so superficial but I hope you all appreciate the fact that She Knows Best balances fashion, celebs, grooming, and lifestyles for everyone .

Ben Affleck’s New Look, Yay or Nay?

When I first saw pictures of Ben Affleck’s new hairstyle I thought it wasn’t too bad. It looks cool. It’s different but it suits Ben Affleck. Having said that, I don’t like all that facial hair. He looks rugged which is fine. I’m just not digging all that facial hair. If it was just a goatee perhaps I could warm up to it after a while.

Maybe he’s doing a movie and he has to alter his boyish looks for the character. If that’s the case then fine, I’ll live with it . Like I said, I don’t mind the new hairstyle. Here’s to hoping he’ll shave the facial hair when the movie shoot is done. Or not .

Congratulations To Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are getting ready for baby #2. Congratulations to both Ben and Jen.

Victor Garber, Jennifer’s co-star in ALIAS and a dear friend broke the news to Us Weekly. Another source said Jen is 5 month pregnant.

I like Ben Affleck. There was that one point in his life where he kinda forgot what life is all about and got enthralled with the “hollywood”. I don’t blame him though. It was another Jen, heh. I’m so happy he found the better and best Jennifer in his life. Now he’s a family Man and regained the respectability he deserves within the industry and fans alike.

Ben is catching up to his best buddy Matt Damon who is also expecting a new baby with wife Luciana. Congrats Again! I hope  Ben and Matt each have a boy .

I’m guessing Casey Affleck is wearing John Varvatos Hi-Top Multi-Lace Converse sneakers. Why would I assume that? Well, in this picture, Casey is attending John Varvatos 6th Annual Stuart House Benefit and John Varvatos has recently designed Chuck Taylors to add to his collection. Rules Of Style : Donatella Versace

It’s Donatella Versace’s turn to tell us her 10 Rules of Style she happily shared at DETAILS Men’s Style Manual.

1. A man looks best in well-tailored paints with a low waist and a t-shirt. Donatella suggests a camel coat for Winter. for dressing up days, pinstripes suits with dark shirts are a must.

2. Bill Clinton is fascinating, always perfectly dressed. Apparently, she thinks he’s glamorous judging by the way he talks and walks. Interesting.

3. Middle-aged men should not wear black leather jackets. If you say so Donatella. I bet a bunch of bikers with their Harley Davidson motorcycles would argue otherwise. Heh.

4. Ben Affleck looks like a nice American boy. Albeit Donatella would appreciate a little danger out of him though. Hmm, didn’t you hear about his alcoholic phase? I call that dangerous. Eh, I think he’s passed that stage in his life now. He’s a Father now, with a beautiful and kick-ass wife to boot

5. Jewelry is okay if a man knows how to wear it. If you’re wearing a blue suit, don’t bastardize your self by adding jewelry.

I AGREE, 100%. Matt Damon has graced SKB’s Hollywood Stylish Man and is one of my 50 Stylish Man List. Now pals Brad Pitt and George Clooney who each has the title from the previous years of the annual PEOPLE Sexiest Man Alive can stop teasing him and campaigning for him. Bestfriend Ben Affleck who has also been PEOPLE Sexiest Man Alive at one point is happy for his friend. According to him, Matt’s life has always been about being sexy(kidding of course ) , so it’s about time he’s gotten the title.

Matt Damon, being true to himself is humbled by the title :

“You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime,” Damon, 32, told PEOPLE, explaining why he couldn’t possibly accept the crown.”

This is exactly why I agree with this choice. Matt is not only sexy, cute and adorable, he’s also a down to earth person. He’s got an uncanny sense of humor and honest to goodness a good actor in his own right. Read more reasons why PEOPLE magazine picked Matt Damon this year.

While the fashion conscious and sometimes misguided(hey, they can’t all be perfect) Hollywood Stylish Women are strutting it out in the Spring ‘08 Fashion Week in NYC, wherein I’m happy and proudly report that our Beauty and Style Channel has covered in every areas, their equally stylish counterparts(Hollywood Men) are out and about in Torontos’ 32nd Annual Film Festival to air out their suits. Black, pinstripes, gray, patterned or plaid, 3-pieces or not, they’ve got them all. Neck ties or No Ties, solid color or printed, it’s all good. Scruffy or clean-shaven jaw, it doesn’t matter. Tussled hair or sleeked back, they really went all out and turned it up a notch for the sake of Hollywood Glamour.
