Are Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood Related?

When I first saw that cover magazine on Details magazine August 2007 issue I thought the guy was Elijah Wood. I was like, “oh Froto has a new movie?” 
But then I saw the name and it was none other than Harry Potter’s alter-ego Daniel Radcliffe. I mean the blue eyes, tussled hair, and that come-hither look, at first glance it really does look like Elijah Wood to me.
What do you think? Maybe I need glasses? I’m just curious

I have seen pics of Dan that do closely resemble Elijah. Lately though, as he’s coming into his own, the resemblance stops dead.
There is something fiercely dark, dangerous and decadent about Mr. Radcliffe now.
Throw in being well mannered, charming and humble……………………heaven help a heart!

just like to add, I was actually looking for more adult type pictures of Daniel for this very purpose…I am a writer and I often use pictures of people that I think look like my characters as wall paper in order to keep them fresh in my mind. I had this idea for a story involving two brothers, one the older, etc. and noticed that elijah wood and daniel radcliffe were a perfect pairing, and then I came across this blip while looking for pictures to compare….I think that they absolutely look related. It not only stands to prove that both have a very similar air about them. I’m sure that they are very unique unto themselves, I’d hate to judge anyone on a superficial sort. But, they were both child actors, both coming nto adulthood in front of a public eye, both in a very popular screen role that somewhat keeps them penned in as far as image, and both are wildly terific actors. It would be intriguing to see them in a film together, as it would to hear what advice Elijah would offer to a blossoming Daniel about keeping one’s life together apart from the media…..
OK, they look NOTHING alike. Dan’s more rugged. But I think Elijah’s is SOO much hotter. Yeah, sure they have the same hair and eye color but that’s about where the similarities end.
i now( and like) booth boys and their style. And you’re right Daniel look sometimes so much on Elijah that it’s really difficult to see. I excelly like Daniel more, maybe because hes a bit younger( i’m 14 now.). and if i watch the lord of the rings and after that Harry Potter five (or parts of 6) than i see almost the same face… Lots of my friends ask me also sometimes why i watch “the old films of Elijah” but its just parts of Harry Potter…Really difficult, but also Really cute ..

well of course they’re not related! but daniel does look startlingly like elijah wood, i thought that at first glance too. both of them are really good looking, but i think daniel is hotter! he looks so intense and so much older in this picture, it’s hard to believe that guy is harry potter!

i think dan is the hottest of all and plus i know everything there is to know about him besides the fact he got such a sexy body
i also made the same mistake when i first saw the Details magazine, i thought it was Elijah Wood (and not bothering with the blurbs in front) i began flipping through the magazine. it was when i began reading the piece that it dawned on me that it was Daniel Radcliffe. i was thinking “wth?! this is little Harry Potter?”
they do have a lot in common hence one guy constantly being mistakened for the other: same facial structure, same hair color and type, same skin tone, same height, same blue eyes (although Elijah’s eyes are slightly larger and are a lighter shade of blue). not to mention they both play the main leads in wildly successful fantasy franchises.
the one bit of funny trivia: Daniel Radcliffe, who plays bespectacled Harry Potter, has 20/20 vision. Elijah Wood, who plays sharp sighted Frodo Baggins, couldnt see five feet in front of him without glasses or contact lenses.

Daniel has said several times that he gets mistaken for ElWood and vice versa, and has signed ElWood’s autograph just for the hell of it. I like them both, but I ADORE Daniel. He is WAY too hot. (and I’m too old to admit I think that)

There was speculation a while back when Daniel Radcliffe filmed December Boys in Australia. Apparently the people there were almost certain that he was Elijah Wood as well, however, I do not think that Daniel Radcliffe is related to him. I’ve seen pictures of Dan’s parents, and he’s a spitting image of them put together, however, they look nothing like Elijah Wood. Just a thought.. :>

I think they look extremely alike exept that now Danile is older he looks different and more mature than Elijah. Elijah being very handsome still has a childish look about him….though he is better looking.
