When you dress to impress, little things make a big difference. Now, I’m not saying you should wear a flower belt to work with a plain suit, you can’t pull that off. It’s part of a "look" and though you can toss it on with any jean or cord, I’d suggest cultivating the upscale accessories before trying to pull it off with a suit. Get a great shirt, in a modern color (even pink!), great shoes, and wear it tall.
