Herringbone Jacket Revamped
I haven’t seen a jacket like this in stores – only on TV. It has a lot of unique touches: leather edging and elbow patches (which are cropping up all over the place). Kind of rebel meets preppy.
Now, I’m not going to suggest you go out an buy this exact jacket. It’s ridiculously expensive ($550 from Obedient Sons). What I’d like to point out are the subtle ways it takes something classic, like a Herringbone Jacket, and gives it a twist. Part of this is the cut, part is the simple leather aspects. The collar isn’t perfectly pointy. the pockets are oversized. The black/grey pattern has just a bit more black than normal. Very nice.
