  1. Tom says:

Firstl, the voice-over text in this presentation is awful. It reads like an awkward, front-of-the-classroom oral presentation by a 7th grader.

Or better yet, it’s more like the Miss Teen USA/South Carolina contestant who’s internet video was making the rounds a while back; Lots of words, not a lot of information.

    - “…Just as they spend their business time… perfecting their business lives.” wtf?!

    - “…is also the launching spot of our virtual club which was launched in 2007.”

And these quotes, while much more coherent, just insult my intelligence:

    - “Successful men, like yourselves.”

    - “The Trunk Club is built around successful men.”

    - “…the people that our executive leaders and entrepreneurs,”

    - “for men… …who are busy leading their successful life.”

    - Need it delivered to “your second home?”

It’s obsequious and pandering. It attempts to suck up to the, so-called, “trunk club man” in the way that a late-night, get-rich-quick infomercial panders to the sense of hope of the less-fortunate.

All this AND false exclusivity. Count me in.
