When I first saw this picture of John Travolta, I thought to myself, “Oh C’mon, he’s trying to look young and hip”. Un-tucked white dress shirt, with the bottom unbuttoned, a loose necktie, black blazer and pants. After looking at it for 2 days now, I eventually warmed up to this look.
So what if John Travolta is trying to look young and hip. I don’t think he’s going through a midlife crisis in this outfit. I think he’s just trying to appeal to the young crowd of his new movie BOLT with Miley Cyrus. As a matter of fact, he actually looks cool. It’s a very nice casual wear from John Travolta
By the way if you have children, BOLT is a good movie to bring them too. My family saw it yesterday and we all loved it. It’s funny and very heartfelt that would appeal to kids and adults alike.

I have no problem with the outfit, but that facial hair just isn’t doing it for me.
This is the best I think I’ve seen John Travolta in years…he’s looked greasy and really old for a while now…big improvement!
To me he just looks untidy. I know he’s going for the edgy thing, but there’s not much edge to John Travolta. So to me it just looks untidy.
But I guess seeing as he’s a movie star, he can get away with it. I doubt many ordinary 50 year olds could.
Lame.
Your first impression was correct. John is too old to be sporting something like this. He looks ridiculous. To be his age and go for the untidy look you better be someone like Keith Richards and John is no Keith Richards. It’s just a basic rule that if you’re over 50 and wearing the same clothes as the 16 yr olds at the party you’re probably a douche.
Paint huffing hobo. No wonder he stays out of society.
No way. Casual shirt that are meant to be untucked stop right around the lenght of the cuff. Untucking dress shirts which are meant to be tucked in is just plain sloppy.
