At New York Fashion Week, Donna Karan showcased her 14 DKNY Men’s Fall 2008 collection. She vowed one day to put DKNY Men in ties and gosh darnnit it, she did. She followed suit, no pun intended, with the layering trend for Fall. Wool over nylon, cardigan over jacket, etc. Tim Blanks thought the Donna Karan’s collection could’ve benefited from the red accents detailed on scarves but I digress. My reason after the pictures…
I love Donna Karan’s DKNY Men’s Fall 2008 Collection. The styles may be a bit boring for runway standards but they certainly transcends off the runway. I hate it when clothes featured on the runway doesn’t have a chance in the real world’s everyday life. I could easily see any of these suits ensemble paired with indigo jeans on any of you guys. The collection is relatable and not in the least bit superfluous.
Other than the indy rock star look of their ties, and the overlayering done on those wafer thin models… I like it.
Though I might be biased… seeing as how I’m a wafer thin indy rock star.

What kind of pants are the shiny ones? What material are they?

I would like to see these pants wider legs. They kind of thin and a bit stiff like jeans out on the West coast.
