I’m usually always raving about David Neville and Marcus Wainwright but I’m a little confused with the Rag and Bone Fall 2008 collection. Most specifically the way the hems of the pants were either tucked inside the boots or wrapped tightly right above the shoes. Maybe for errr runway purposes? It’s almost like a subtle attempt to make a point that “ hey, we’re wearable but we could be unique for the runway too”
. While the fashion world is glad that David Neville and Marcus Wainwright finally added luxe to their style, I’m equally glad they didn’t lose their wearability signatures. Other than the tight hems, I think the Rag and Bone Fall 2008 collection is way much better than Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 Collection. See for yourself.

More of the collection after the jump…..
I like the 4 last ones. How about you?

I think that this is a very fashion forward way for men to walk around a gritty city without wearing messy rainboots. It’s tough for men since they can’t carry their shoes around like women do, and wear a different pair of shoes for weather purposes. Since the Rag & Bone duo are from England, they know that weather changes in a heartbeat, and think they have hit the nail on the head with the styling for fashion forward men in metropolis cities.
