If you’re going to sport a beard this year, I hope you look as good as Keanu Reeves, heh. See, I didn’t particularly like Prince William’s beard, but I’m liking Keanu Reeves’ beard. Not all Men can pull off a facial hair. It’s kinda like the skinny jeans. Some Women, present company included (ME) must really stay away from them. Know what I mean?

Factors that matter when it comes to beard are age, facial features, and even complexion. A blonde beard ala Prince William only really works for well, the big guy in the red suit. We call him Santa Clause. Prince William just looked too disturbingly scruffy. Compare to Keanu Reeves’ beards which adds another level to his sex appeal. He looks like one of the bad boys Mothers warn their daughters to stay away from but oh so dangerously sexy and handsome and probably a softie  on the inside . 

What I’m trying to say is, Keanu Reeves looks good with a beard while Prince William doesn’t. The difference is like night and day.

Here is Prince William sporting a beard when he and the royal family attended a Christmas Mass. While I absolutely love his dark navy double breasted coat, and purple necktie, I’m not too sure about Prince William’s facial hair. It makes him look mature but you could tell his boyish looks are not far gone yet. It’s still there except it’s being covered with hair.

Personally, I prefer a clean shaven Prince . I don’t like all that beard on his face. He looks dashing in that double-breasted coat though, doesn’t he? I think Prince William needs to be groomed before 2009 hits the calendar. Unless of course he prefers to be scruffy. If that’s the case then I guess I’ll just have to live with it .

When I first saw pictures of Ben Affleck’s new hairstyle I thought it wasn’t too bad. It looks cool. It’s different but it suits Ben Affleck. Having said that, I don’t like all that facial hair. He looks rugged which is fine. I’m just not digging all that facial hair. If it was just a goatee perhaps I could warm up to it after a while.

Maybe he’s doing a movie and he has to alter his boyish looks for the character. If that’s the case then fine, I’ll live with it . Like I said, I don’t mind the new hairstyle. Here’s to hoping he’ll shave the facial hair when the movie shoot is done. Or not .

Good thing I have a good eye when it comes to faces, coz with all that facial hair, I almost didn’t recognize Adrien Brody. His nose was a giveaway…LOL. I know that nose a mile away, hehe. Adrien looks so different with all that hair on his face. He’s still handsome of course, but I prefer clean shaven Men, heh. A little bit of facial is not bad, but if you almost look half-way like Fidel Castro then that’s a different story.

It’s most probably for a movie though so he’ll shave pretty soon. Well, hopefully anyway. Nice black on black ensemble though .

Praise The Lord, Hallelujah! Robert Downey Jr. must have stumbled upon all my whining. He must have realized that the provenance of my slight depression was his obvious disregard to recognize that little thing called, razor. Or maybe he’s done shooting a movie where a mustache was necessary.

Nevertheless, thank goodness he shaved his mustache off. I can go to sleep happy.

I first whined (pouted) about Robert Downey JR’s mustache last month. I really don’t like it. It reminded me of his Chaplin character. Some of my friends commented that it actually reminded them of Sonny Bono.

Looking at the new pictures, I’m this close to calling a shrink to cure my early signs of depression. Mustache, spiky hair??? Ahh, that’s too much to take.

There’s nothing that Hugh Jackman touches that he doesn’t look good on. A Fedora hat, sure why not?

A gray sweater over a white tee with dark jeans? Hugh Jackman in casual wear heaven.

Hugh gets hot, takes his gray sweater off, Ummmm YEAH! Don’t forget to flex a little bit of muscles and of course the slightly bearded Wolverine look. *sigh* . So how’s your week so far?

I don’t know if I like the mustache look from Robert Downey Jr. It reminds me so much of his Chaplin character. I’m not feeling all hot & bothered with this look right now..LOL. I like his tailored jacket though. Even though his necktie is confusing the hell out of me right about now. What are the black things flapping underneath the collar? I think I’m feeling crappy today, heh.

I just found this look from Thomas Jane untidy. His face needs some grooming. Unbuttoned shirt that’s showing more that we really need to see from a Man’s chest. The final straw, the folded short sleeves. I could ignore the chain hanging from one his jeans pocket but Dude needs to shave. Oh and button his shirt. And unfold the already short sleeves shirt. I mean, if you’re going to a Will Smith movie premiere, whom you know is going to dress up to the nines, at least make an effort to look tidy, heh.
