Part of the many Fall trends I covered this week is the check and plaid trends. I featured mostly items that you’ll find at Neiman Marcus so they are a bit, oh ok, a lot expensive than regular brands. Perry Ellis is a great brand with affordable prizes so for check and plaid, here are a few from the sale selections that you might want to check out for casual days this Fall season.

This multi-check shirt is on sale for $24.99. Unfortunately, it’s only available in size Small. So if you are that size then grab it fast.

Completing the list of Neiman Marcus’ Fall 2009 trends is the leather jacket. Who doesn’t wear a leather jacket during the Fall? Here are a few examples of quality leather jackets with distinctive styles that you might want to consider.

A nice tonal haircalf trim makes this Versace Chevron Leather Jacket sort of sporty yet chic. It’s in a turtleneck style with banded ribbed and banded hem. $1995

After perusing Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 RTW collection which features a trim and military-inspired looks, I am not surprised at all that trim silhouette is part of the top trends for Fall 2009. The streamlined, and structured look which exudes sexiness, clean, and “eye-on-the ball” kind of focus.

You can never go wrong with a classic cut of black blazer over a striped sweater from Armani Collezioni. The large chevron blazer has notched lapels with 2 front buttons.

If you really think about it, knitwear is a usual choice to wear for comfort and warmth during the Fall season. Therefore I am really not surprised at all that Knitwear is part of the Fall 2009 trends. As far as I’m concerned, knitwear should always be part of any Fall list.

Rugby striped sweater for $225. Perfect to pair with jeans or dark grey trouser. It could go casual or smart casual for office wear.

Another Fall trend you need to incorporate in your wardrobe is the check and plaid prints. It is almost a given actually if you think about it but the ones you’ll find nowadays are really nice. Let me show you some of my check and plaid picks from Neiman Marcus.

Let’s step away from the designer duds for a bit and look at what affordable retail stores like Marshalls has to offer for Fall 2008 Footwear. Not everyone can afford $500 sneakers and $2500 moccasins or loafers, yah know.
